XJAUS: Xbox Cloud Gaming client released in version 1.2.1

XJAUS has been released in version 1.2.1.

The tool is a desktop client for Xbox Cloud Gaming and Remote Play on Linux and Windows. New are an improved device-code sign-in and an English/Spanish interface language setting. Packages are available as AppImage, RPM and DEB for Linux x86-64.

Sign-in: Improves the device-code sign-in lifecycle.

Language: Adds an English/Spanish interface preference. It sends a locale (en-US or es-MX) with Cloud Gaming requests, separate from the configured market. It doesn’t change the account, console, or system region, and doesn’t guarantee each game’s internal language.

Packages: Linux x86-64 (AppImage, RPM, DEB) and Windows x64 (NSIS EXE, MSI). Verify them with the attached SHA256SUMS file.

Testing: Automated suites passed. A real Age of Empires IV Cloud Gaming session showed 1920x1080 video. The main menu was not verified.

Not verified: Remote Play (no video obtained), OAuth (no new auth flow started), the account’s effective remote market, and native Windows (installers tested only under Wine).

Caveats: The Windows installers are unsigned. Linux compatibility is not certified across all distributions or SteamOS.
