Faugus Launcher: Hotfix version 2.4.4 released

Faugus Launcher, a game launcher for Linux for managing Wine and Proton games, has been released in version 2.4.4.

The update follows shortly after version 2.4.3 and is a hotfix: with the new default Proton system, launchers could no longer be installed. The remaining changes match the 2.4.3 highlights, including a custom Proton per game and customizable widget colors.

  • Hotfix: launchers failing to install with new default Proton system. Thanks @Blumlaut
  • Now games will use the default Proton by default. Added an option to specify a Proton per game rather than use the default
  • Added an option to change the widget color
  • Changed the color of the “Remove” button in Proton Manager
  • Now populates the flowbox vertically when orientation is horizontal
  • Now the “Run file in the prefix” option honors the environment variables set for that prefix
  • Some code refactoring
  • Fixed gamepad bumpers not switching Settings tabs
  • Fixed gameids being duplicated after adding a game with a name previously used. Thanks @ammuench
  • Fixed gamepad navigation when multiple input devices are connected
  • Fixed playtime and last played display not being updated when launching a game from the shortcut
  • Fixed the “Backup now” button sometimes stuck as “Cancel backup”
  • Fixed underscores in the game name not showing in the system tray menu
  • Updated translations (Bulgarian, Chinese, French, Georgian, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Ukrainian)
