Bottles: Wine manager released in version 67.5

Bottles, a graphical manager for Wine environments, has been released in version 67.5.

The update brings numerous bug fixes, including for dependency installers, desktop shortcuts and restoring bottles. New is optional Eagle tracing with compatible Soda runners and an identity bridge. Playtime totals are now shown in hours.

What’s Changed

  • Fixed template downloads and component catalog fallback, including installed components when offline.
  • Fixed dependency installers with Z: disabled, font installation and reporting installer failures.
  • Fixed importing prefix architecture and preserving user files when restoring bottles on another account.
  • Fixed desktop shortcuts, executable drag and drop, bottle ordering and component removal controls.
  • Fixed UMU controller access and retrying failed game searches.
  • Fixed the bottle’s Wayland setting for Proton launches.
  • Added optional Eagle tracing and native analysis with compatible Soda runners. Other runners keep the existing analyzer and launch path.
  • Added the identity bridge for compatible Soda runners, including browser return handling and account storage in the system keyring.
  • Changed playtime totals to hours.

Bottles is available as a Flatpak on Flathub, and the cpak package remains in an experimental stage via cpak.it.
