Steamworks: improved financial reporting for developers released

Valve has rolled out improvements to the financial reporting site in the Steamworks partner portal.

Developers use the portal to manage their games on Steam and to review data such as revenue and sales figures.

The sales chart now lets you toggle directly between units and revenue as well as between region and country of purchase. There are also new charts on each game’s landing page: an in-game sales chart, a Steam key activations chart, and country and regional sales for in-game items.

Today, we’re rolling out some improvements to the financial reporting site so that it’s easier to visualize your game’s trends and performance. When you’re viewing your sales chart (based on whatever period you select), you can now easily toggle between units and revenue, as well as region and country of purchase.

We’ve also added new charts to your game’s landing page on the partner site: In-game sales chart, including the quick toggle between units and revenue and region and country Steam key activations chart, with a toggle between region and country of activation You can now also view country and regional sales for in-game items, if you have any.

If you run into any issues with these new charts on the partner site, or you have suggestions for other ways we can improve the financial reporting site, reach out to us any time!
