Spellbound & Shelved, a cozy idle game, has been released by needmoar.games with a native Linux version on Steam.
The game is about restoring order to a wizard academy’s library that is buried under 6,655 books: you hire and upgrade gnomes who shelve the books automatically, while you flip the door sign between OPEN (income, but new mess) and CLOSED (tidying in peace).
The title is free to play. It offers more than 200 upgrades, 15 shelf wings and 29 achievements; a full run takes roughly 1-3 hours, and you can save any time. The Linux version requires Ubuntu 20.04 or newer.
200 upgrades
15 shelf wings, chained shut until you buy their chains off
29 achievements and a finale for the last book leaving the floor
A full run in roughly 1-3 hours - save and continue any time
