Pulsar Mouse Linux, an unofficial configuration tool for Pulsar gaming mice on Linux, has been released in version v0.1.12.

After the pure packaging fix in version 0.1.11, this release adds support for a new mouse model for the first time: the Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition. Despite the Feinmann branding, it speaks the Nordic protocol rather than the Sonix protocol used by other Feinmann models, and communicates over interface 1.

The Noctua Edition comes with fan control in modes 0-4, a low-power threshold register, and a DPI range up to 42,000. It has no LEDs despite firmware support for them. The implementation has since been verified on real hardware.

Noctua: the DPI table is at 0x1B00, not 0x000C

Captured Fusion traffic revealed the actual DPI table location - the first four stages happened to match at 0x000C, which masked the real address. Each stage now uses separate 16-bit values for X and Y with 1 DPI granularity.

Noctua: lift-off distance stops at 1.7mm, not 2.0

Captured slider movements showed the valid range is 0.7-1.7mm, based on codes 0x01-0x0B observed in Fusion’s interface.

Noctua: confirmed on hardware, both the dongle and the cable

14 of 14 checks passed. DPI values (400, 1600, 28393, 42000) round-tripped correctly, and the lift-off distance range was validated end to end.
