Deck Shelves has been released in version 3.3.0.
Deck Shelves is a Decky plugin that organizes the Steam Deck home screen into customizable, filterable and sortable shelves.
The update adds keyboard bindings as an alternative to gamepad shortcuts, an optional cloud sync for settings across devices, and a built-in idle screensaver with a slideshow. It also brings five new filters (review score, release date, SteamOS compatibility, and more) and over 25 bug fixes.
Added:
- Gamepad shortcuts can now also be bound to a keyboard key, including modifier combos like Ctrl+F
- Optional cloud sync of settings across devices on the same Steam account (experimental, off by default)
- Built-in idle screensaver with a slideshow of Recents, shelf games and local screenshots
- Five new filters: review score, release date, coming soon, demo, SteamOS compatibility
- TabMaster shelf imports now correctly convert filters instead of importing them as a name filter
- Two new sort options: “Games I own” and “Family-shared games”
- Genre, category, franchise and VR filters now also work on wishlist/store cards
- Optional Showcase mode that cycles through shelves automatically when idle
- Optional Deck Shelves tab right in the Quick Access Menu
Fixed:
- Badge visibility issues on the Steam Beta client
- Missing context menu entries (“Add to shelf”, “Highlight”, “Hide”) restored
- Multiplayer filter now also matches games already in your library
- Genre, category and franchise filters now match correctly
- Focus race on Steam restart that could land on an online shelf first
- Profiles no longer stay stuck active after sleep/wake cycles
- Performance improvements for shelf scrolling
- Various compatibility fixes for the current Steam Client Beta
