Return to Castle Wolfenstein is now available 100% uncut in Germany for the first time, as Bethesda announced on X.
The 2001 classic runs on the Quake III Arena engine and sends US Army Ranger William “B.J.” Blazkowicz after Nazi supernatural experiments. The release coincides with QuakeCon 2026 and Bethesda’s 40th anniversary.
The legendary Return to Castle Wolfenstein for PC is available today for the first time completely uncut in Germany.
The game is available on Steam and, DRM-free, on GOG, currently both at €1.99 as part of a Bethesda sale running until August 13 and 14 respectively.
