PCSX2 has been released in version 2.8.0.

PCSX2 is an open-source emulator for the PlayStation 2 that runs PS2 games on the PC, adding improvements such as higher resolutions, widescreen modes and save states at any time.

According to the developers, this is the first “immutable” release, meaning an immutably versioned stable build.

Release 2.8.0! Our first immutable release, I hope I didn’t screw up.
