Nearcade: version 3.0.6 released

Nearcade has been released in version 3.0.6.

Nearcade is a remote arcade gaming platform that lets players stream and play games together over the internet - as a desktop app (Electron) and an Android app.

This update focuses on remote-play controller accuracy, dependable friend pairing, and a complete rework of local broadcast.

  • Broadcast: Native NDI broadcast lets the stream be discovered as an NDI source on the LAN and pulled straight into OBS without plugins. Windows also gets Spout2 broadcast egress for native DX11 sender integration. The OBS Target pop-out capture window has been removed.
  • Controller: Controller database overhaul normalizing gamepad calibrations to the browser standard axis layout, fixing dead right-stick issues. Permanent pairing codes no longer expire.
  • UI: Accent-themed scrollbars matching the host palette, enhanced friend-pairing UI with explanatory annotations, restored host settings tabs for Audio, Input, and Viewers.
  • Bug fixes: Live Arcade panel now loads properly in the dashboard, Windows app no longer crashes when sharing screen, right stick input restored on imported gamepads, empty host settings tabs now render full content.
