Maneater: shark action-RPG now DRM-free on GOG

Maneater is now available DRM-free on GOG.

Maneater is a single-player open-world action-RPG - a self-described “ShaRkPG” - where you eat your way up the food chain as a shark. Starting as a small pup on the fringes of the ecosystem, you grow and evolve while hunting down the fisherman who mutilated you as a juvenile.

The campaign is narrated by Chris Parnell in the style of a reality TV show. Seven explorable regions - from bayous to beach resorts and industrial ports - offer a day-night cycle along with combat against wildlife and human hunters. Only Windows is officially supported, but the game runs on Linux via Proton.

The regular price is €35.99, currently discounted 85% to €5.39 (offer ends August 19, 2026).

No activation or online connection required to play.

“Werde ein MANEATER” - Play as a fearsome shark in this single-player open-world action-RPG. Start as a juvenile and survive by eating through the ecosystem, growing and evolving while seeking revenge against a mutilating fisherman.
