The Lord of the Rings: War in the North - Legacy Edition is now available DRM-free on GOG.
War in the North is an action RPG in which three heroes - a Dúnedain Ranger, an Elven Loremaster and a Dwarven Champion - team up in co-op to fight Sauron’s forces in the North of Middle-earth, telling the untold story of the shadow lord Agandaûr.
The Legacy Edition brings the 2011 game up to modern standards: native 4K resolution, 60+ FPS, and a new ability to seamlessly hot-swap between the three characters mid-battle. Online co-op for up to three players and split-screen are still included. The game is officially supported on Windows only, but runs on Linux via Proton.
