OptiScaler, a compatibility layer for upscaling and frame generation technologies such as FSR4, DLSS, and XeSS, has been released in version v0.9.4.
The release centers on the FFX 2.3 SDK with FSR 4.1.1: model/preset hooking was reworked, fixing Failed to hook errors. RDNA 3 desktop GPUs now get INT8 auto-enabled, and unsupported cards get a new Fsr4ForceEnableInt8 option. The update also adds community-sourced FSR 3.1 tuning presets and turns several overlay options into dropdown menus. Alongside the release, the project passed 1 million downloads and 9000+ stars on GitHub.
