GOverlay, a graphical tool for managing Linux gaming overlays, has been released in version 1.8.3. This update replaces FGMOD with BGMOD - a complete rewrite in native Pascal - and integrates Pascube as a Vulkan demo and benchmark tool comparable to 3DMark.
Hello Linux Gamers. Another release with a bunch of new features and fixes.
BGMOD is a complete rewrite in native Pascal, functioning as a native binary with improved speed and reliability. Configuration now lives in an external file, enabling updates without affecting user settings.
Pascube has been unified into the codebase and updated to version 1.8.3. It serves dual purposes: functioning as a Vulkan demo for interface testing and as a benchmark tool that generates performance scores comparable to 3DMark.
Two instructional video tutorials have been embedded in the interface covering setup with Steam and Heroic Games Launcher.
Bug Fixes & Improvements: – Enhanced Flatpak compatibility across multiple systems – Improved uninstallation procedures – Refactored global configuration methods for enhanced stability
Known Issue: A bug affects Pascube Benchmark on Ubuntu-based systems using the AppImage version - users are advised to use Flatpak as an alternative.
