Cockatrice 3.1 continues the modernization effort started in 3.0 with a wave of gameplay polish, quality-of-life improvements, and under-the-hood work that makes the client faster and more resilient.

Your settings have moved from a single
global.inifile into one file per settings group. That migration ran automatically, and before it ran Cockatrice copied your whole settings folder to a timestamped backup next to it (settings-backup-<date>). Settings migrations only run forwards. If you ever downgrade to an older Cockatrice, that version will not read the new per-group files and will start from default settings. This release contains 285 pull requests, spread across usability, performance and maintainability.
