PipeASIO, eine ASIO-Bridge für PipeWire unter Linux (primär für Wine), wurde in der Version v1.9.0 veröffentlicht - kurz nach Version 1.8.1.

Der Debug-Modus protokolliert nun Build-Informationen des Treibers (Version, Git-Commit, Wine-Build und Kernel), während die Bottles-Unterstützung als experimentell markiert und nicht mehr aktiv gepflegt wird - Fokus liegen künftig auf reinen Wine-Prefixes und Faugus.

• Debug mode now logs driver build information including version, git commit (with -dirty for uncommitted changes), which front end or half of an ARM64X hybrid, the Wine build and the kernel.

• Bottles support is now marked experimental and no longer actively maintained, with plain Wine prefixes and Faugus remaining the primary focus.

• Resolved ARM64 host issues under Wine with FEX that prevented driver loading from installations.
• Fixed sample-rate changes from host while buffers existed.
• Added 5-second timeout for PipeWire daemon syncs to prevent host hangs.
• Corrected memory access issues during port registration and device reading at startup.
• Fixed crashes when calling GetChannelInfo after failed initialization.

Security

• The manager now refuses to install or update PipeASIO in Flatpak Bottles due to sandbox symlink vulnerabilities.
