Armada, ein Linux-basiertes Betriebssystem für ARM Gaming-Handhelds, wurde in der Vorschau-Version 20260915 veröffentlicht.
Armada ist ein an SteamOS angelehntes Betriebssystem, das speziell für Handheld-Geräte wie Retroid Pocket und AYN Thor entwickelt wird und Steams Game-Mode-Oberfläche samt Emulator- und Streaming-Unterstützung mitbringt. Es folgt gut eine Woche auf die Vorschau-Version 20260907.
Neu in diesem Release sind verbesserte Hardware-Displayrotation beim Gaming auf SM8550-, SM8650- und SM8750-Geräten, eine neu implementierte Installationsroutine mit höherer Zuverlässigkeit sowie die Unterstützung für weitere Handheld-Modelle wie den AYN Thor Lite und den AYANEO Pocket S 1K.
