GPU Screen Recorder wurde in der Version 6.0.0 auf Flathub veröffentlicht.

Das Tool zeichnet Bildschirminhalte mithilfe der GPU auf und funktioniert ähnlich wie NVIDIA ShadowPlay unter Windows, mit Unterstützung für X11 und Wayland auf AMD-, Intel- und NVIDIA-Hardware.

Die neue Version bringt vor allem Unterstützung für Apple-Hardware unter Asahi Linux sowie IPC-Unterstützung im Kommandozeilen-Tool.
