Hand of Fate: Hordes ist ab sofort im Early Access auf Steam erhältlich.
Im Gegensatz zu den bisherigen Hand of Fate-Spielen, die als Mischung aus Deckbuilding, Rogue-like und Action-RPG mit Kartenkämpfen bekannt waren, schlägt Hordes ein komplett anderes Genre ein: Es handelt sich um einen dark-fantasy Bullet-Heaven-Auto-Shooter, bei dem Deckbuilding-Elemente die Grundlage für den Build der eigenen Figur bilden, statt wie zuvor den Dungeon selbst zu formen. Statt einzelner Kartenkämpfe mit dem Ace of Skulls stehen nun Kämpfe gegen endlose Gegnerhorden im Vordergrund.
Entwickelt wird das Spiel erneut von den ursprünglichen Machern von Hand of Fate, mit Anthony Skordi wieder in seiner Rolle als “The Dealer”.
