Hey everyone,

I’m a Linux user and long-time Roblox fan, and like many others, I’ve been trying to enjoy Roblox on Linux. While it’s technically possible to run the Windows client or Roblox Studio through Wine or Proton, the experience is far from stable. Studio in particular does launch, but it's glitchy, breaks easily, and often stops working after updates. The player client also lacks proper graphics support—things like particles and shaders are often missing or broken—and the Byfron anti-cheat prevents full functionality.

Right now, Linux users are stuck using unofficial methods like Wine, Proton, or Android-based solutions like Sober, but these aren't reliable long-term solutions. Roblox has grown into one of the biggest platforms in gaming and creation, and Linux has also become a serious platform for developers, students, and gamers. It’s time the two met properly.

I’ve started a petition asking Roblox Corporation to consider officially supporting Linux—either through a native version or by improving compatibility through Proton/Wine. Even a beta or roadmap would be a huge step forward.

Is there a way to run fifa 14 on Linux as I have all the fifa 14 files but somehow the game cannot run when I use wine to run it ,I tried lutris still no luck when I try to configure it . I don't get why it does run it an old game is that the case . Like games like need for speed most wanted runs perfectly fine ,is there a way to run FiFa 14

Recently I bought soma and for some reason no matter what it crashes right after the intro, tried it in windows and it worked on the same system so something wrong on linux side. Here is my linux setup and some pc specs:

• Arch
• Ryzen 7 7800x3d
• 9070 xt
• Mesa ver 25.1.4-2
• Wayland
• Gnome
• Steam ( from arch-gaming-meta package)
• Tried both non proton and a lot of proton versions and all yield the same results.

I got nothing from the terminal logs but from the proton logs I got a 400kb file that I put into this pastebin: https://pastebin.com/hd9uXGYM

A few days ago, I installed Fedora Kinoite 42 on my main computer. I'm pretty experienced with linux, and I really like it. Except, I often play on a network called Vatsim with MSFS and I've not been able to run the client (vPilot) with protontricks. Now, I'm heavily considering buying Xplane 12 as it is on sale and it's native to linux. So I've been wondering if anyone has succeeded to install vPilot, and also how xplane ran on linux.

For my specs, I have a R5 5600, an RX 6600 and 32gb of RAM

I pipe all my audio through a virtual microphone, however the steam client seems to be unable to detect any virtual microphones. This is mainly a problem for the SGR, which therefore cannot record my mic input.

I have tried running steam with the -pipewire flag however that did not fix it.

I am running the steam flatpak beta client.

Hi everyone,

I'm a new Linux user, having switched to CachyOS about two weeks ago. I'm having a great time, and everything has worked flawlessly until now.

I'm trying to mod my Bethesda games on Steam (specifically Oblivion, Skyrim SE, and Starfield), but I'm struggling. I'm used to the simplicity of Vortex on Windows and was hoping for a similar experience.

I tried using Steam Tinker Launcher, but I couldn't get it to work for Oblivion. It wouldn't even open Vortex or Mod Organizer 2. I also heard about a tool called Limo, but I downloaded it and couldn't understand how to use it.

Could anyone point me to an easy way to mod these games on Linux? Or perhaps recommend a good, up-to-date tutorial for setting up a mod manager?

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share a quick fix for anyone struggling to get DualSense haptics feedback working on Arch Linux. I was having issues where the controller worked, but the adaptive triggers and haptics weren’t working up in supported games. What worked for me was: open winecfg, go to the Staging tab, and enable EAX support.

This worked using:

• Arch Linux (Kernel 6.15)
• KDE 6.4
• pronton-ge 10-7
• Dualsense connected via USB

So far it did the trick on the 2 games i tested, Allan wake 2 and Death Stranding.

I'm running CachyOS with an RTX 2080 Ti, Wayland using KWin and I have HDR enabled. When I run Diablo 4, if I alt+tab either out of game or back into it my Plasma session will crash, taking all running apps with it. Sometimes I will see a TTY window with @_@ or something similar on the screen before Plasma restarts, but not always.

I'm running the Steam version of DIablo 4 with the following options:

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 VKD3D_DISABLE_EXTENSIONS=VK_KHR_present_wait game-performance %command%

Has anyone experienced this before, or know how to fix it? Any other needed info, just let me know and I'll provide it.

Hey yall, should quickly mention that the game does launch under the latest Proton version but I need the older proton versions to use DXVK. Reason being that my pc is quite old so doesnt support all the latest vulkan feature and anything above 7.1+ and also I'm having loading issues with the game when entering combat where the game takes a couple of seconds to load the combat segments after a cutscene or dialogue.

Anyways when launcing P5X, the game wouldn't launch with the error message "Please launch the game from the Steam platform"
