To celebrate its 18th birthday, GOG has released seven Anniversary Editions, including the restored Wing Commander Prophecy and the return of Road Rash for its 30th anniversary on PC.
Wing Commander Prophecy was restored by GOG itself as part of the GOG Preservation Program, while Road Rash is a 90s motorcycle brawler, DRM-free on GOG. The other editions were led by EA. Each edition ships with the new version plus the original Legacy build, which is no longer sold separately. Anyone who already owns a Wing Commander title on GOG gets the matching Anniversary Pack in their library for free.
The seven Anniversary Editions:
- Wing Commander Prophecy: 30th Anniversary Edition
- Road Rash: 30th Anniversary Edition
- Wing Commander: 35th Anniversary Edition
- Wing Commander II: Vengeance of the Kilrathi: 35th Anniversary Edition
- Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger: 30th Anniversary Edition
- Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom: 30th Anniversary Edition
- Privateer 2: The Darkening: 30th Anniversary Edition
Wing Commander Prophecy is one of seven Anniversary Editions launching today on GOG, which also includes the return of Road Rash celebrating its 30th Anniversary on PC.
The 90s motorcycle brawl is live today on GOG, DRM-free and ready to roll.
