Heartfall - A Tale in Three Lives is now available for free on Linux via Steam.

The game is a visual novel RPG and a non-commercial fan project based on the YouTube series “3rd Life”, with different story routes written and designed by separate teams.

Heartfall - a Tale in Three Lives follows Grian as he wakes up on a mysterious island. Explore, encounter 12+ characters, partake in fatal-but-temporary shenanigans, and reveal one of the many story routes! Every route diverges wildly — you may find yourself becoming a detective, cheating on your first alliance, or discovering secrets that were best left forgotten!

Within the game’s 400k+ words of dialogue, 450+ cut in artworks, and 50+ original music tracks you’ll find our creative hearts beating. Seventy collaborators brought their unique styles and passion to this project in order to realize their visions for ‘what if’ scenarios branching off of the YouTube series 3rd Life. No knowledge of 3rd Life is required to play.
