Dementium II: Nintendo DS horror classic released on Steam

Dementium II, the PC port of the Nintendo DS horror game, is now available on Steam.

The first-person horror game sends William Redmoor through an asylum, a hospital and an abandoned village, with flashlight and weapon usable at the same time. It costs €15.49. There is no native Linux version, but Steam lists the game as running well on the Steam Deck.

There have already been several updates since the release on October 20, most recently version 1.0.2 on October 22:

1.0.2 Improved death sequence Added melee crosshairs Added head bob option Fixed booting some low spec GPUs Fixed sticky filing cabinet collision in early hospital room

A BIGGER, DEADLIER SEQUEL

Fight smarter. Hold your flashlight and weapon together, and jump and crawl through larger environments

More weapons, more monsters, each demanding its own strategy

Enemies stay dead. Clear an area, and it stays cleared

Save points and a carry-anywhere inventory so you can use health when you need it, not just when you find it

Beyond the asylum: a hospital, an abandoned village, and places far worse
