The Things We Don’t See, an anthology of ten self-contained interactive stories, is now available for Linux on Steam.
The Things We Don’t See is a visual novel in which each of the ten standalone stories covers a single bad night - ranging from suburban horror to body horror to corporate conspiracy. Every path depends entirely on the choices the player makes.
Each story branches into multiple routes, adding up to more than 40 possible endings. Finishing all ten stories unlocks a hidden eleventh file. At launch the game is 40% off at €3.69 instead of the regular €6.15.
“The Things We Don’t See” is an anthology of ten self-contained interactive stories, each one a single bad night that spirals somewhere you didn’t expect. A pair of teenagers who’ve cried wolf one too many times finally see something real through a neighbor’s window. A courier’s damaged aerocar goes down in corporate airspace with something worth killing for still in the cargo hold. A man who has watched a woman from across the street for thirty-one nights finally gets watched back.
There’s no single hero and no single genre. Some nights are supernatural. Some are conspiracy thrillers. Some are just about how far an ordinary person will go once they’ve already gone too far to stop. What connects them is you - every story is built entirely around the choices you make in the moment, with no easy way to know which door leads out.
- Ten complete stories, one anthology. Each is fully self-contained - pick any file and play it in any order.
- Branching paths, real consequences. Every story splits into multiple routes based on your choices, with 40+ possible endings across the anthology.
- A hidden eleventh file. Finish all ten stories and something else unlocks.
- Ten worlds, ten tones. Suburban horror, body horror, cave horror, corporate conspiracy, first-contact sci-fi, and stalker-thriller.
