Proton Wineland has been released in version 11.0-20260910.
Proton Wineland is a fork of Proton-CachyOS, a compatibility layer for running Windows games on Linux with extra patches and optimizations.
Important: a bug in latency readings at HUD levels 4-5 can cause stuttering or freezes in DirectX 12 games - until a fix arrives, HUD level 3 is recommended. Also new: a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+O) to toggle HUD visibility without restarting the game, a GPU junction temperature metric (gpu.jtemp), and HDR improvements for Steam Overlay and MangoHud.
Critical Issue Warning: A bug affecting latency readings in HUD levels 4-5 can cause stuttering or freezes in DirectX 12 games. Users are advised to use HUD level 3 until a fix arrives.
