The Island Market Simulator has left early access with its update to version 1.0.
Island Market Simulator is a cooperative economy and building simulation in which you team up with friends on an island to grow crops, raise animals, craft goods and build a trade empire across changing seasons and festivals. The game runs natively on SteamOS and Linux and costs 11.99 euros, with a 40 percent launch discount (7.19 euros) until 17 September.
The 1.0 release adds a lobby system with voice chat, a full map, a worker system with three hireable apprentices, fishing plus a sushi market, new animals and significant performance improvements.
π€ Lobby System & Voice Chat A lobby system and voice chat have been added to the game - so you can find friends and experience much of the content together.
πΊοΈ Map - No More Getting Lost A full map has been added - accessible via the M key or the pause menu - where you can get information and view locations in detail.
π· Worker System You can now hire 3 apprentices - Greg, Jesse, and Walter at your service. Handle island tasks much faster with them by your side.
π Tutorial Rework & Island Lessons The tutorial has been reworked from the ground up. On top of that, we’ve added a new tab called Island Lessons where you can learn and experience the production processes step by step.
πΎ New Animals 2 different horses, dogs and cats as companions, and sheep for wool and mutton.
π± Fertilizer Machine With the fertilizer machine, you can produce different fertilizers that affect your seeds in unique ways.
π£ Fishing Fishing has been added. Grab your boat, head out, and catch some beautiful fish and sell them for serious money.
π£ Sushi Market Use the fish you’ve caught to prepare sushi and sell them - a whole new income stream.
π§ Bug Fixes & Improvements Chronic Delivery Bug: The long-standing bug during the product delivery point quest has been resolved. Big Optimization: many optimizations have been made - you’ll get significantly better FPS. Key Binding: you can now customize keys to match your own playstyle.
