The developers of the upcoming 2.5D shooter Captain Moviestar 3D are currently looking for beta testers for the Linux version of the game.

Anyone who wants to try the game before its official release on Linux and help track down bugs and issues can now get in touch with me via a private message on Mastodon. I will hand out the available beta keys on a first-come, first-served basis - whoever contacts me first gets a key first.

Reporting bugs and issues: A Linux beta especially benefits from as many different hardware and software configurations as possible. So both experienced Linux gamers and users with less typical setups are welcome to put the game through its paces on Linux.

Anyone who wants to take part in the playtest and report bugs just needs to send me a private message on Mastodon. Keys will be handed out while supplies last.

Bugs found during testing can be reported to the developers in several ways. A dedicated Google Form is available for this purpose. Alternatively, issues can also be reported via the developers’ Discord server or in the bug forum on Steam. Details on this will be provided along with the key.
