Smack Talk: platform fighter leaves early access

Smack Talk has left early access on Steam and is now available in its finished form with native Linux support.

Smack Talk is a fast-paced online platform fighter for 1 to 8 players in which attacks are triggered by voice recognition: you call out your moves or spit one-liners to power up and knock your friends out of the arena. The game normally costs 6.15 Euro and is currently 35% off at 3.99 Euro (for two weeks); the new bundle with “Shrimp Game: Overkrill” adds another 10%.

The full release adds the two new characters Power Ranger and Kaiju with their own move sets, plus a new city stage. That brings the roster to 27 characters and 10 stages (with 6 additional variants).

Hey everyone the long awaited Smack Talk Full Release is here! Its been almost a year since we first announced Smack Talk. In the 30-ish updates since early access we’ve managed to squish major bugs, and add a meaningful amount of content and features. With this new themed update we’re adding 2 new Characters the Power Ranger and the Kaiju along with a city stage! These two fighters come with their own unique move sets with several jokes, and references to their inspirations. We hope you guys enjoy!

Big thanks to everyone who has supported us and followed along since early access. This is our studios first game and we’re super grateful for all the feedback and encouragement we’ve received!

In the future we still plan to do a few more updates, so keep an eye out for those.
