MBHaxe has been released in version 2.0.1 “PlatinumQuest”.
MBHaxe is a Haxe-based recreation of the Marble Blast game series, rebuilding the gameplay mechanics and content of the original titles.
The update fixes numerous bugs and compatibility issues, including physics collision accuracy, the Gem Hunt mode, replays, and various UI and powerup problems.
This update fixes a ton of bugs and issues encountered since release:
- The marble physics collision code is now completely accurate to the original game.
- Fixed Gem Hunt gem spawning algorithm not matching with the original game.
- Fixed replays being broken in Gem Hunt. Older replays will still remain broken but newer ones won’t be.
- Fixed not being able to use powerups while mouse button is held down.
- Fixed jukebox songs not being ordered correctly.
- Fixed challenge time colors and level frames being of incorrect colors.
- Fixed leaderboards not loading for customs.
- Fixed Easter Eggs not being detected in the level select.
- Fixed missing textures for some MBU shapes.
- Fixed Physical Activity not working correctly.
- Fixed SuperSpeed direction being wrong on Touch Controls.
- Fixed Teleport powerup not working correctly.
- Fixed empty help bubble texts.
- Fixed checkpoints not working in Laps mode.
- Fixed Timer background not being centered.
- Fixed missing SuperStop powerup.
- Fixed some crashes due to UI.
- Fixed some missing datablocks.
- Fixed radar not showing in some cases.
- Reduced the time to hold the respawn button to trigger a full respawn.
- Reduced some download bloat.
