HEXSTORM: Tears of Arcadia is now available on Steam.

The game is a tactical tower defense title with roguelike elements, where players build defense systems around the flying fortress Arcadia.

A Linux version (including SteamOS support) as well as a free demo are available for download.

Rather than passive tower placement, players must maintain balance between economic expansion through resource collectors and urgent defensive needs. The central mechanic revolves around power networks - structures must be connected and powered to function effectively. Different enemy types, from rushing units to ranged attackers and saboteurs, force constant tactical adaptation throughout missions.

Key features include two distinct mission types (ground-based defensive waves and aerial operations with scrolling environments), a dynamic upgrade system with depot bonuses, and meta-progression between missions. Alongside a story-driven campaign mode, there is also a challenge mode with endless waves.

The game costs €9.56 (currently 15% off as part of an introductory offer, valid until August 10).
