Chards has left Early Access after nearly a year and reached version 1.0 on Steam.
The game combines chess with card game mechanics: classic chess pieces meet 67 cards and 23 extra pieces on an 8x8 board, with resource management through gold and mana - with almost no randomness. It offers 4 game modes plus online PvP, LAN PvP, and local split-screen. Linux is natively supported.
Right now, Chards costs €5.85 instead of €9.75 due to an introductory offer running until August 28.
A strategic card game combining chess with card mechanics featuring minimal randomness and deep tactical gameplay.
