Bottles: Wine manager gets update in version 66.2

Bottles, a graphical manager for Wine environments, has been released in version 66.2.

Shortly after version 66.1, this release follows with nine fixes and improvements, including work on the Steam runtime and network behavior.

  • Steam Runtime Fix: Corrected dash argument passing
  • Scout Runtime: Preserved runtime launches
  • Library Management: Handled mixed library entries and removed case-insensitive DLL duplicates
  • GPU Support: Implemented fallback to available NVK ICDs
  • Executable Launches: External executables now launch with Wine
  • Funding Flow: Improved support donation interface
  • Network Stability: Added timeouts to installer and crash report requests; moved network operations off UI thread

Bottles is available as a Flatpak on Flathub; the cpak package is currently in an experimental stage via cpak.it.
