Nothing to Declare: airport security simulation released on Steam

Nothing to Declare is now available on Steam.

In this airport security simulation, players take on the role of an airport security officer, weighing bags, scanning luggage with an x-ray, and questioning travelers for suspicious items - it strongly recalls “Papers, Please”, just wrapped in a friendlier, hand-drawn look instead of that game’s grim border post.

An airport security simulation where players weigh bags, scan luggage, question passengers, and search for prohibited items in a cozy, hand-drawn environment. The game invites players into a cozy, hand-drawn world where your job is to keep things safe, with just a sprinkle of suspicion. Players manage airport checkpoint duties, greet travelers, check documents, and make judgment calls about suspicious items through various mini-games.

Features include mini-games for weighing and scanning luggage, a dialogue system for passenger interviews, a performance grading system with earnings, and 22 Steam achievements.

On Linux, the game doesn’t run natively yet, but works through Proton (recommended: Proton-8). Nothing to Declare normally costs €9.75, with a 30% discount bringing it to €6.82 during the introductory offer through August 8.
