DLSS Updater has been released in version 4.6.0.
After version 4.5.1, 4.6.0 brings an auto-update capability for Windows and Linux, plus improved Flatpak integration.
Auto-Update Capability: Windows and Linux now support automatic updates. When an update is available, the version badge transforms into an update button. On Windows, the application fully downloads and installs autonomously. On Linux, it downloads the Flatpak bundle (sandbox restrictions prevent automatic installation).
Update Preferences: Two new toggles were added under UI Preferences → Application Updates: “check on launch” (enabled by default) and “download automatically” (disabled by default).
Flatpak Integration: Enhanced support for
flatpak updatecommands, as bundles now include origin remote attachment. Users can add the remote with a specified command for automatic detection in GNOME Software and KDE Discover.UI Enhancements: Design improvements by contributor Quinta0 allow game icons to occupy full width in the game library. Clicking a game card now opens DLL details.
Security: Update downloads are verified using SHA-256 digest verification. The Flatpak update channel is GPG signed with fingerprint: “4AD3 8790 6BC2 7C4B 8BFC B2D4 A613 C3A8 B1F1 B430”
Technical Updates: Code migration to Flet 0.86.4; minor design consistency improvements.
