CorsixTH, the open-source recreation of Theme Hospital, has been released in version v0.70.0.

After two betas and two release candidates, the new version mainly brings 2x/3x UI scaling for high-resolution screens, support for the official Russian Theme Hospital edition, several accessibility improvements, and a large number of bugfixes.

New features:

• 2x and 3x UI scaling, no more tiny text on 4k screens
• Support for the official Russian edition of Theme Hospital (Soft Club)
• Accessibility improvements: subtitles for the announcer, ability to turn off screen shake
• Initial support for blocking off areas within rooms
• Support for MIDI devices
• Adviser message history can now be viewed (charts menu or Ctrl+H)
• Improved performance for large hospitals

Bugfixes (beta through release candidate 2):

• Fixed regression where a machine’s maximum strength never decreased
• Fixed crash when stopping music during the level progression movie
• Fixed multiple crashes when loading save games
• Fixed regression where mousewheel scroll didn’t work with UI scaling enabled
• Numerous other minor regressions and graphical issues fixed
