Amethyst Mod Manager has been released in version v1.3.13 “UI Rework”.
Amethyst is a Linux-native mod management tool with an interface modeled after the well-known Mod Organizer. It supports direct installation of Nexus Mods collections, a FOMOD installer with saved preferences, built-in LOOT integration for load order management, and root folder deployment to keep game directories clean. Over 50 games are officially supported, including Skyrim, the Fallout series, Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, and Starfield - custom game definitions allow community-added support beyond that. It’s available as an AppImage, Flatpak, and via the AUR.
According to the developer, this is the final update with this user interface - future releases will bring significant UI changes.
- Runtime-generated files appearing in game root folders are now moved to the profiles root folder
- Added right-click option to the overwrite separator displaying a log of files that entered it
- Introduced right-click functionality to transfer mods between profiles
- Updated the dtkit patcher wizard with current version
- Fixed separators shifting position when new ones are added with reverse priority sorting
- Quick auto-clean wizards now display dirty plugins
