The new Version 2017.09.25 of AppGameKit (aka AGK2) adds again new features and improvements.
Worth noting is the addition of the support of JSON in the engine.

Today we've added support for JSON files and the ability to load and save arrays to AppGameKit!
The new Version 2017.07.19 of AppGameKit (also known as AGK2) again adds a ton of new features and fixes.
This time the developers focused most notably on the 3D-part of the engine.

The new update 2017.05.15 for the Linux-version of AppGameKit (aka AGK2) adds new file and folder commands and also commands for vibration on Android und iOS devices.

About one month after the first introduction in AGK2 for Windows, the Linux-version of AppGameKit (aka AGK2) now also gains the long awaited plugin-support with the recently released version 2017.04.24 of AGK2.
You can now write/develop your own libraries (.so on Linux, .dll on Windows) in any language you like and include them as plugins in your AGK-programs.
The Game Creators have published their Roadmap for 2017 regarding the further development of AppGameKit.
The AGK-Community have been asked in a survey, which features they would like to see in the next versions, and they have been heard:
