LookPilot, a webcam-based head-tracking tool for Linux, received an update adding a new tracking model and tray mode. The app supports over 700 games via TrackIR emulation and is available on Steam for €15.49 (14-day free trial available).

New Tracking Model: Vega & Altair
You can now choose between two head-tracking models in Settings - Head tracking mode.
Vega (the original model) tends to stay more consistent in tougher conditions like dim light or a partially visible face.
Altair (a newer 3D model) can track more precisely when you have good lighting and a clear view of your face.
Neither is strictly better; it depends on your camera and setup. Try both and keep whichever tracks better. Vega stays the default, so nothing changes unless you switch.
