Vega (the original model) tends to stay more consistent in tougher conditions like dim light or a partially visible face. Altair (a newer 3D model) can track more precisely when you have good lighting and a clear view of your face. Neither is strictly better; it depends on your camera and setup. Try both and keep whichever tracks better. Vega stays the default, so nothing changes unless you switch.</p>
